We had a wonderful stay at Salty Surfer. It was so well equipped, we had everything we needed and more. There were many nice touches throughout the property that we appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked, the bathroom and living area was nice and bed was very comfortable.
All of the beach accessories made for a delightful afternoon on the beach.
We enjoyed our time so much that we will plan to come back next year for a longer stay.

Host was terrific, responsive and thoughtful, making sure by reaching out to me that the sleeping arrangement (already detailed in the listing) would truly meet my needs. The space was much larger than expected and the welcoming touches were appreciated. It was probably the most well-stocked place I've stayed (kitchen, bath, beachgear). The backyard was great and a perfect landing spot when coming back from beach. They made it super easy to keep the sand out of the house, as long as you make the slightest effort, you won't be walking on sand in your barefeet in the house!
Beach access was super easy, it is probably a 2 min. walk and all paved/ramped with only one small stair step to get onto the sand.
This place and everything in it was SPOTLESS! So clean that I don't know how they do it. And beautiful, magazine layout beautiful.

Oh my gosh, this place is wonderful! There isn't a detail missing. So well decorated and comfortable; all the things you need for a beach vacation and more! Owners have thought about everything. I really appreciate the small touches like the bedside cube that had numerous outlets; perfect to charge watch, phone and earbuds all at once. Bed and furniture were very comfy. Completely outfitted kitchen. Two large smart TVs. Appreciated the use of washer/dryer and spray hose right by the door to clean off sandy feet. We brought our own beach chairs/ etc, but I know there were a lot of options on hand if you needed them because the beach is so close. Couldn't ask for a better stay. Thank you!
PS to Owners: We appreciate that you have renovated an older small motel, especially when hurricanes have caused so much damage and too many large condo resorts have been built in their place. It's fun to stay in a quaint yet modern inn right near the beach

What a lovely place! So clean and well equipped. No bugs. We felt right at home. It was lovely to be so close to the beach, we enjoyed shelling, shark tooth hunting, and sunsets. The area felt very safe. Bed was very comfy and so was the couch. It is also just 10 minutes from town, for groceries and coffee drive thru. We would absolutely recommend!

Amazing!! It was everything I was wanting and more!! Just a few steps to the beach with a ramp. Went there everyday! The place was super clean, great kitchen, bed was awesome, and the outside back patio was private with table and chairs, hammock, grill, lights, beach chairs…they thought of everything you could want in a beach stay!! Would definitely love to go back…I didn’t want to leave!! haha

Had every amenity you could want from an outdoor area with a hammock and fire pit and great grill. Had easy access to a beautiful beach with all of the things you’d need to enjoy it including chairs, umbrellas, a wagon, cooler, beach bag, sunblock and towels. The place was clean and close to restaurants with a free shuttle if you don’t wish to walk!

What an incredible place!
Spotless and very comfortable beds and furnishings. Linens and towels soft and plush.
I don’t think I’ve seen as well an appointed kitchen in my 20+ Airbnb stays over the years. And the communication was excellent. Very responsive and very detailed checkin and checkout instructions.
Being so close to the beach (with umbrellas and chairs provided) - perfect.
Highly recommend Salty Surfer.

We had a great stay at the Salty Surfer Cottage. The unit was pristine and comfortable. We appreciated that we had access to very comfortable beach chairs to start our day on the beach with coffee. Stumpy’s golf cart shuttle service was such a bonus to get us to great meals each day. Sunsets at the beach were maxing and celebrated by the neighborhood! We highly recommend the Salty Surfer units!!!

This was our 4th stay at the Salty Surfer - obviously we are very happy with the place. Marina is a wonderful, welcoming host - she is very responsive and thoughtful. The place is lovely and has everything you would ever need. This time we went in December and we loved the little Christmas tree! All this and just steps to the beach and right across the street from Lemon Bay!

We had the best time at The Salty Surfer. The unit was beautiful and just as pictured. The private back patio was perfect for grilling and eating dinner by the gas fireplace. The host was quick to respond and a pleasure to work with. The beach is just steps away and the unit is stocked with all beach essentials. We will definitely stay again in the future.
