Beachside Retreat Perfect for 2 The Salty Surfer

Guest Favorite, fully remodeled and designed for guest comfort, Unit THREE is smaller but packs a punch! New full kitchen (no dishwasher), an oversized L shaped sofa, a luxurious king bed with cotton linens, and a true twin size chair sleeper for the mini you / travel companion. A large corner yard with a firepit, hammock for afternoon naps, and a bbq grill. All our units are supplied with beach gear as the sand is right outside each door!

Good to know

The Salty Surfer is a 3 unit building. Each unit is listed separately. Each has own parking. Each has private outdoor space. The laundry with 2 washers and 2 dryers is shared, as is the trash recycle area. The beach access is right outside each door, approximately 120 yards.

Due to proximity of the three units, the maximum capacity and parking are strict.

-------2026 Manasota Key Post Hurricane Rebuilding-------- Blind Pass Beach and Road to Manasota Beach are OPEN Englewood Beach OPEN Stump Pass OPEN with limited parking The neighboring property has begun rebuilding post hurricane. Their work may cause occasional daytime noise/traffic (a specific timeline of projects is not available to us) Our home is not affected, and we’ll do our best to keep your stay comfortable. The beach and beach access are open, beautiful. A large portion of the key in general is still heavily recovering and some form of construction may be encountered with the one main road on the key. The Salty Surfer is family owned and we greatly appreciate your support of our community during rebuilding, excited to have you as our guest. Please note, the laundry is shared between the 3 condo units. Due to proximity of each unit, the maximum occupancy of each is strict.

Accessibility and Availability

Guest Access

Guests have full access to the unit they have a reservation for. Each has own parking for 2 vehicles. Unfortunately visitation is limited due to lack of visitor parking and comfort of other guests. All units have access to the shared laundry.

Had every amenity you could want from an outdoor area with a hammock and fire pit and great grill. Had easy access to a beautiful beach with all of the things you’d need to enjoy it including chairs, umbrellas, a wagon, cooler, beach bag, sunblock and towels. The place was clean and close to restaurants with a free shuttle if you don’t wish to walk!

We had a great stay at the Salty Surfer Cottage. The unit was pristine and comfortable. We appreciated that we had access to very comfortable beach chairs to start our day on the beach with coffee. Stumpy’s golf cart shuttle service was such a bonus to get us to great meals each day. Sunsets at the beach were maxing and celebrated by the neighborhood! We highly recommend the Salty Surfer units!!!

This place was as close as it gets to perfection, everything was spotless & top notch! We can’t say enough good things about it! It was so close to the beach & we loved the privacy! Marina has everything & more that we could have needed! Very detailed & well put together! We can’t wait to go back next September! This place exceeded our expectations! Thank you for a wonderful get away!

We were very pleased with The Salty Surfer. We loved the private outdoor space and even had a grill. The space was so comfortable and relaxing! The kitchen was well equipped. Short walk to the beach and a box with all of the beach gear you could need!

We reserved unit #3 and loved it! It was beautifully decorated, very clean and had everything we needed! The location was great - so close to the beach! We had a question and they were very quick to get back to us. We will definitely return for another visit!

We have been to Manasota Key/Englewood beach before and this was by far our best time there. The condo was the perfect space for my husband and myself. I absolutely loved the decor and felt right at home. The bed was so comfortable as was the sofa. The AC kept everything nice and cool. We had a very nice private outside patio area to enjoy. We had access to beach supplies (chairs, wagon, etc). The condo is beachside and a very close walk to the beach. We love searching for shark teeth and were able to find plenty without having to drive to another beach area. Our host was so nice and responded quickly with answers to any questions before and during our stay. So many extra touches I feel that the host/owner put a lot of thought and care to what their guests would/could need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back again soon.
